I'm reading Wild Life by Cynthia DeFELICE. It was published in 2011. The characters are Erik (The main character) his step grampa and his gradma, Oma. And his Mom and His Dad. But he calls his step grampa Big Darell. In the book Wild Life Erik runs away with a dog he just found he hasnt name her yet but she had porcupine quills in her. They run away and dont come back. Erik took his moms brothers gun and they have to hunt to stay alive.

ReplyDeleteThe main character is Izzie. In the beginning Izzie went Italy with a group of friends and their names were Nesta, Lucy, and Tj. When Izzie tried to put on her favorite pants that made her look slimmer they wouldn’t even go up past her knees. Izzie said mom my favorite black skinny jeans have shrunk in the wash. Izzie’s mom said are you sure they haven’t done that before.
In the middle if the book Izzie says she’s going on a diet so she can lose some weight. When Izzie arrives at school she asks her friends did I put on weight and be honest with me. Izzie’s friends say it doesn’t look like you put on any weight at all. When they go to lunch she says I’m going on a starve yourself diet.
When Izzie’s friend Lucy’s ex asks Lucy to go out with her again she says no but he ends up wedeling his way back into her life and they always end up together in the end. At the end of the book Izzie’s mom says your not fat it’s a natural thing to put on a little weight.
